Thank you COVID?

What a year it has been. None of us have ever experienced a global pandemic before. We know how it started, but we still don’t know how it will end. In a year that has experienced so much bad news, it is even more important to pause and be thankful.
I AM THANKFUL that despite the inability to travel and be with our distant families, we have the technology to communicate and “see” friends and loved ones from our phones, tablets, and computers.
I AM THANKFUL for having the ability to work remotely when necessary. Home is where the heart is and I love being at home with my family.
I AM THANKFUL that I live in such an incredible community. The Mad River Valley is truly an amazing place to live with such beautiful scenery and endless recreational opportunities. But it is during challenging times like these when I see the community come together to help neighbors and strangers alike.
I AM THANKFUL that I work in an industry that has ended up thriving through these challenging times and I hope to support local businesses that have struggled.
Most of all I AM THANKFUL for my family and our health. May you and your families remain healthy through this holiday season.
