The Future is Bright!

This time last year things were looking pretty bleak. We were in the midst of a national lock-down, tensions and anxiety levels were high, people were hoarding toilet paper and groceries. The fear of the unknown effected every human on this planet.
It was a year of peaks and valleys. Time spent at home with family allowed for reflection and re-prioritization of what is really important. Vermont seemed to be handling the COVID-19 pandemic well and infection rates stayed lower per capita than most other states for the most part. We did see infection numbers rise and we’re not 100% out of the woods, but the future is looking bright!
Vaccinations are ongoing, and businesses are starting to operate at more normal levels. With continued diligence and a little bit of luck, things might be back to some form of “normal” by July 4th. What a fitting date to celebrate our independence from COVID-19!
All of us here at Mad River Valley Real Estate have been following the protocols and guidelines to the letter for over a year now, and we will continue to do so until it is no longer deemed necessary. We believe that if we all stick together and keep each other safe and healthy, this summer could be the sunniest and brightest we’ve ever seen.
